ClubSwan 42 Loco

The ClubSwan 42 was designed by German Frers and built by Nautor's Swan with the first boat being launched in 2006. It was initially launched and referred to as New York Yacht Club 42 as the design was commissioned by the club following a tendering process. The ClubSwan 42 Class has a strict owner driver rule when sailed in Class with a limited number of professional sailors onboard and a limited stock of new sails allowed each season. The aim is to ensure racing is close and exciting while maintaining a soft budget cap.

Launched in 2007, Loco is great example of this timeless ClubSwan 42 design. Loco has been sailing in Asia since her launch and has more recently been IRC optimized, whilst retaining the boats inherent ORCi friendliness and cruising ability at the same time.

Loco through the years has adjusted from IRC/ORC racing to Class racing so she has a strong racing, cruising and One Design inventory ensuring she appeals to a wide variety of buyers.
